We exist to protect your interests against corrupt attorneys. This is our Attorney Hall of Shame. Atty David Littman, practicing out of Denver Colorado, is a member. If you have had dealing with this particular attorney, David Littman, please let us know your experiences at our email address. If you are considering retaining this atty David Littman, located in Denver Colorado, we would like to consider the following serious warning. We have received a number of complaints about his legal practices. Mr. Littman often acts as a special advocate ( once known as a guardian ad litem) for children. He is supposed to protect the interests of kids. We have been informed by a number of people that they have had the following experiences: David Littman can be extremely dangerous, if crossed, in the position of special advocate or special master. He works with most of the courts, and has influence with the judges. David Littman tends to be very domineering, judgmental and frequently oversteps his boundaries as an special advocate/master. If you anger him by not agreeing with his opinion, he has been known to take his revenge by making up very negative reports to the judge. This can have an extremely negative effect on your custody or child support hearings. Mr. Littman may also try to convince you to appoint him as a special master. This is to his financial benefit. It also gives him great power in your case. Be aware that this puts him in the position of a very highly paid judge. There is no one who will be supervising his arbitrary rulings and there is no way of removing a special master once appointed. He has been dismissed from a number of similar cases where he was the advocate, with prejudice (because of his atrocious actions in overstepping his position)! He has been known to misrepresent to clients about what powers are given to him as a special master. He will convince you to elect him special master because it gives him great power and also an incredible financial advantage. You will lose your right to a court hearing if you sign him on as a special master. Please check with independent legal counsel before giving away your rights! If you allow Mr. Littman to be appointed as the special advocate/master to protect the interests of your kids in a difficult divorce situation, David Littman may refuse to take any action to protect the children for whom he is an advocate. He has a reputation as a laissez faire (doesn't care) special advocate after he has received his fee. Please investigate your choice of David Littman PC before retaining him. We do not verify these comments, so please investigate this and any other atty you have involved in your case carefully.
